Luna and Tana, a mother and daughter who finally deserve a family life

Their identity

Luna and Tana are two adorable wirehaired Dachshunds. Luna, the mother, was born in 2018 and Tana, her daughter, in 2022. They have always lived together and share a very strong bond. Both are sweet, affectionate dogs who are used to living with children.

They can be adopted together or separately, although we hope with all our hearts that they will be able to continue their lives side by side.

Their history

Luna and Tana have always lived on the same property. Unfortunately, their owner no longer wishes to keep them.

For a long time, they have known a life made of solitude. During the winter, they spend long periods of time entirely alone, without the presence and affection that every dog needs.

Today, there is an urgent need to find them a new home before they continue to live in these conditions. Finally, they deserve a family that will consider them as true members of the household.

Their character

Despite the lack of attention they experienced, Luna and Tana remained two wonderful dogs.

Very affectionate, they love the company of humans and appreciate moments of tenderness. They are gentle, balanced and have that loyal and endearing temperament that makes all the charm of Dachshunds.

Accustomed to children, they will bring a lot of joy and love to their future family.

Their agreements

Luna and Tana have lived together forever and have a very close relationship.

They are used to children and appreciate their presence.

However, they are not compatible with cats.

If a joint adoption is possible, it would be the greatest gift. However, if this allows each one to quickly find a loving home, they can also be adopted separately.

Their daily life

Both are looking for a simple life, made up of walks, moments of sharing and the daily presence of their family.

After years spent in an environment where they have often been left alone, they simply dream of a home where they will finally be surrounded by attention, gentleness and security.

The ideal family

Luna and Tana are looking for responsible adopters, ready to offer them everything they never really knew: a warm home, a reassuring presence and a lot of love.

Whether they are adopted together or separately, their greatest wish is to never again experience abandonment or loneliness.

After all these years of waiting, it is time for their story to finally take the path to happiness. They are just waiting for a family ready to open its heart to them forever.

They will be placed sterilized, vaccinated, identified and dewormed. Tests for Mediterranean diseases are negative but the test for leishmaniasis will be redone in the event of an adoption request and will then have to be redone once a year, as the disease is endemic in Spain and can take several years to be detectable.
