Tayson, a disoriented young dog waiting to find a family

Its identity: Tayson is an adorable male mix born on October 10, 2024. It weighs about 10 kilos and measures 45 cm at the withers. He was sterilized, vaccinated and negative for leishmaniasis. He is a perfectly healthy young dog, ready to start a new life.

Its history:Tayson had been adopted when he was still a puppy. He grew up in a family and thought he would spend his whole life there. Unfortunately, his owners have moved and feel they no longer have time to take care of him. So they made the difficult decision to entrust him to the shelter. For Tayson, this separation is totally incomprehensible. He waits for his family to return, tries to jump the fences to find them and does not understand why no one comes to pick him up. This situation is very painful for this young dog who had always known the warmth of a home.

His character:Tayson is a real ray of sunshine. Extremely affectionate, playful and sociable, he loves the company of humans and is constantly looking for contact.He enjoys walks, playtime and all the activities he shares with his family. Always in a good mood, he brings joy wherever he goes. His attachment to people is immense, which makes his abandonment all the more difficult to live with.

His agreements:Tayson gets along very well with dogs, both male and female. It is also compatible with children and farm animals. Regarding the cats, his former family says that he lived with them without difficulty, but this point has not yet been verified by the shelter.

His daily life: Accustomed to living in a house, Tayson knows the rules of family life and adapts very well to this lifestyle. He walks well on a leash, travels easily by car and enjoys daily outings. He is an easy-going dog who only wants to share the daily life of his humans. However, care must be taken to secure the garden properly if the house has one, because, in his current distress, Tayson is able to jump a fence to try to find his family.

He will be placed sterilized, vaccinated, identified and dewormed. Tests for Mediterranean diseases are negative but the test for leishmaniasis will be redone in the event of an adoption request and will then have to be redone once a year, as the disease is endemic in Spain and can take several years to be detectable.
