Tango, an exceptional German shepherd waiting for a second chance

His identity: Tango is a magnificent German Shepherd born on October 15, 2018. He weighs about 29 kilos. He is vaccinated, tested negative for leishmaniasis and the results of other Mediterranean diseases are pending. His castration is planned before his adoption.

When he arrived at the shelter, Tango was suffering from joint pain and weakness in his limbs. Thanks to a vitamin B treatment and the care received, he is now fully recovered and in great shape.

His story:Tango's whole life was turned upside down when his owner died. They lived together in a country house and shared a strong bond. After this death, his master's son explained that he could not keep him and entrusted Tango, as well as his partner, to the shelter.

On the day of their abandonment, tears were present and the promise to come and visit them was made. However, since that day, no one has checked on them.

Tango, on the other hand, continues to wait. Without understanding why he lost his family, he still has an intact trust in humans.

His character: Tango is an absolutely formidable dog. Sociable, affectionate, joyful and very close to people, he loves to share the lives of his reference people. He naturally seeks contact, appreciates petting and is always in a good mood.

Balanced and obedient, it has all the qualities you would expect from a well-groomed German Shepherd. He is a loyal companion, endearing and very pleasant to live with.

His understandings: Tango gets along very well with both male and female dogs. The only exception is non-neutered males, with whom he may encounter some difficulties. This situation is also likely to change since he will soon be castrated.

Its compatibility with cats and farm animals has not been evaluated.

His daily life: Tango walks perfectly on a leash and enjoys walks immensely. He is easy to live with, close to his human and will quickly integrate into a home where he will receive the attention he deserves.

The ideal family: Tango is looking for a family that is present, affectionate and ready to offer them a real place in the home. It will suit people who already know German Shepherds as well as adopters wishing to share their daily life with a balanced, loyal and deeply endearing dog.

After losing his master and then his home, Tango finally deserves to find stability. Behind his gentle gaze hides a dog that has lost none of its ability to love. He is simply waiting for a new family to reach out to him to write the most beautiful chapter of his life.

He will be placed sterilized, vaccinated, identified and dewormed. Tests for Mediterranean diseases are negative but the test for leishmaniasis will be redone in the event of an adoption request and will then have to be redone once a year, as the disease is endemic in Spain and can take several years to be detectable.
