Dandy, a joyful little companion waiting for his family

Its identity

Dandy is an adorable little mix dog born on July 15, 2025. As an adult, it will weigh about 6 kg, which will make it a small companion. He is neutered, vaccinated and his test for leishmaniasis is being validated; The first result is negative.

Its history

Dandy arrived at the shelter in August 2026 after being rescued from the perrera. Like so many other abandoned dogs, he experienced uncertainty before being brought to safety.

Today, he is looking forward to a family finally offering him the stability, love and gentleness he deserves.

His character

Dandy is a particularly friendly and endearing little dog. Always in a good mood, he likes to be surrounded and willingly shares moments of complicity with humans.

Its cheerful and sociable temperament makes it a pleasant companion to live with. Curious and full of life, he enjoys walks, discoveries and moments of play, while remaining very close to the people who take care of him.

His agreements

Dandy gets along very well with dogs, both male and female.

He is also compatible with children, with whom he is kind and affectionate.

Its compatibility with cats has not yet been tested.

His daily life

Dandy travels well by car and walks properly on a leash.

Its energy level is medium to high. He will appreciate a family that can offer him daily walks, activities adapted to his young age and many moments of sharing.

Thanks to its balanced character, it should adapt easily to family life.

Dandy will suit a family with children as well as a couple or a single person wishing to share their daily life with a small, affectionate and dynamic dog.

He can live with another sociable dog or be the only companion in the household. Still very young, he has his whole life ahead of him and is just waiting to learn, discover the world and build a relationship of trust with his future family.

He will be placed sterilized, vaccinated, identified and dewormed. Tests for Mediterranean diseases are negative but the test for leishmaniasis will be redone in the event of an adoption request and will then have to be redone once a year, as the disease is endemic in Spain and can take several years to be detectable.
